Continuing To Serve Our Member’s Needs

Electric co-ops are built by, and belong to, the communities we serve. That community focus drives our co-op as we respond to evolving COVID-19 challenges and local concerns. Our lobby has been closed since March 24th and will remain closed until further notice. We will continue to serve the needs of our members by utilizing online, phone and drop box options. Other payment options are the PaySites located in the Fastrips at Cassville, Wheaton and the Harps in Seligman.

We recognize the significant economic fallout from COVID-19 on local families and businesses and we have put measures in place to handle these situations. The main priority of BEC is to provide reliable electric, internet and phone services, and our staff is here for our members. We are prepared to provide options in these uncertain times.

We will be bringing a large group of our employees, that have been working remotely, back into the office on Thursday, May 7th.  We want to thank everyone from members to employees that have stepped up and made this difficult time easier. Our board of directors and management team will continue to evaluate the situation and do what is best for the cooperative.
