BARRY ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE HAS UNCLAIMED CONSUMER PATRONAGE REFUNDS FOR CUSTOMERS DURING SERVICE YEARS 1998, 1999, 2000 & 2021



Notice is hereby given to the following former and/or present members that the cooperative holds unclaimed patronage capital credits. These refunds are for the service years 1998, 1999, 2000 & 2021. The cooperative board of directors authorized payment on these accounts in November 2022. The searchable list of names is available below.

Claims may be established by submitting the form below and identification to the office of Barry Electric Cooperative, 4015 Main Street, PO Box 307, Cassville, Missouri 65625.

Any member or former member who fails to claim any capital credits or other payment within two (2) years after payment has been made available to such person shall have made an irrevocable assignment and gift to the cooperative of such capital credits or other payments.

If these credits are not duly claimed within sixty (60) days following this publication, the same shall be turned over to the cooperative and made an irrevocable assignment and gift to the cooperative.

To claim your credit, please complete the corresponding form below, submit a valid driver’s license or obituary and email to MEMBERSERVICES@barryelectric.com

Important to note: When filling out the Affidavit of Heirship to claim a deceased member’s credit, the document must be printed one-sided and notarized. We have notaries in our office than can help you with that if you’d like to come see us!
